Opus Nihil
The two members of Sinfonia Borealis are busy fellows. Sometimes there are many months between releases. Of course, that doesn’t mean they’re not plotting in the background. During the first half of 2024, with the two of them engaged in academic and educational efforts, there wasn’t much time to meet and work on releases.
In the background, however, the two had ended up with a sizeable backlog of songs. In addition to the three songs released in the earlier half of the year (Fortuna in Fidei, Redemptio, Aqua Tofana), they had started sketching out six more songs. At some point during the summer of 2024, it was decided to release all six as an EP. That EP ended up being Opus Nihil.
